Each character has the option of being one of four classes- Ranger, Warrior, Assassin, or Wizard. Each class has their own unique starting abilities and weapons. Here is a basic overview:
Ranger:
Governing Attribute: Perception
The most important skill for rangers to possess is perception. All their abilities flow through their visions, feelings, and instincts. Experts at long range combat, rangers initially make use of bows, traps, and pets when fighting. Rangers wear light armor.
Warrior:
Governing Attribute: Strength
The most important stat for a successful warrior is strength. Their skills in combat come from leading the charge and using various one or two handed swords, maces and axes. Warriors wear heavy armor.
Assassin:
Governing Attribute: Dexterity
Dexterity allows the assassin to use various combat abilities such as poison and disappearing into the shadows. Assassins are initially limited to using throwing knives and daggers in combat, and are some of the most prolific damage dealers. Assassins wear light armor.
Wizard:
Governing Attribute: Intelligence
Intelligence governs how much damage wizards can do. Initially they have various spells and can even use their staff for limited physical damage. They are the only class that can heal themselves or others during combat. Wizards wear cloth armor.
